It's back! With the goal of bringing a little cheer to patients in the hospital during the holiday season, the deviantART Holiday Card Project connects deviants from around the world and applies their tremendous artistic abilities in designing and creating uplifting holiday cards. In past years, the Project has received more than 5,000 cards sent in by more than 1,000 deviants from 50 different countries/political regions. Cards were then divvied up and distributed in-person by deviantART members to local Los Angeles, CA hospitals, with additional cards given to various hospitals in the U.S. and abroad for hospital staff members to hand out

Early bird gets the worm right?

So I am already getting stuff in order for Youmacon this year. Yes, that lovely convention in Detroit in October. I just keep running into a slight snag. My costume has a hat, something that I can purchase but I would much prefer to pay someone to make it for me. The issue is everyone I have been asking to make said hat has told me no. Well more so one artist has yet to respond to my questions, and artist number 2 has said she feels it is too daunting a task for her to feel comfortable with. So back to the drawing board. Anyone know someone who is willing to try a difficult hat piece? I am trying so hard to do this now while I know I have the

So yeah finally getting stuff done!

So I have been saving money and have every intention of going to Youmacon in Detroit the last weekend in October. I have already ordered my wig for my costume and i'm just waiting for it to come in. So today I finally pulled out the pattern and cut it out. I've had the fabric for over two months, i'm just lazy I guess. I am determined to actually get the jumper for my costume cut out and sewn together in the next couple weeks and of course I'm just waiting for my wig to arrive so I can style it.
